I have been invited to join the Norwegian Dynamics community at DynUG Høstkonferanse on November 24–25, 2026, at Scandic Oslo Airport. I’ll be speaking twice: once to leaders navigating the cost of AI, and once to the whole conference about the changing world of business applications.

Below are the titles and descriptions for my two sessions.
We bought Copilot. What are we paying for now?
Buying Copilot was supposed to settle the licensing question. Then came agents and Copilot Credits, adding consumption-based costs to the familiar world of user licenses.
In DynUG’s new leadership program on November 25, I’ll look at where this consumption happens, what options organizations have for tracking and assigning it, and what leaders should ask their vendors and partners before the first surprise invoice. My co-presenter in this session will be Tim Ervik from Microsoft Norway, who will explore how organizations can connect AI spending with business value using the latest tooling from Microsoft.
Apps and seats vs. code and credits
In my closing keynote for the conference, I’ll take a more personal look at the changes underway. Twenty years ago, I chose configuring business applications over writing code. Today, I’m working with AI coding agents, while the business systems I’ve spent my career with are asking for credits as well as licenses.
What does this mean for the people who build, manage and use business applications? I’ll share my perspective on where our work is heading and how we can find our place in this new world.
DynUG’s conference brings together people working with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Fabric and Power BI. I’m looking forward to meeting the Norwegian community and hearing how others are navigating these changes.
